Payouts and earnings
Earnings show up in Studio. Payouts run on a schedule once you've connected a bank account through our payments partner.
What it is
Earnings are the running total of subscription revenue minus TrueSay's cut and payment processing fees. Payouts are the actual transfers from us to your bank, run on a schedule once you've connected a bank account through our payments partner.
How to use it
In Studio → Payouts, tap Connect bank. You'll be handed off to our payments partner to verify your identity and add the account; we don't store the bank details ourselves.
Once connected, payouts run every Tuesday for any earnings cleared by the previous Friday. Minimum payout is $25; below that, the balance rolls to the next week.
Track earnings, pending balance, and past payouts under Studio → Payouts. Tax docs (1099 in the US, equivalents elsewhere) drop in Studio → Tax in January.
Why it matters
Payouts are the load-bearing part of being a creator on TrueSay — if the money doesn't move, none of the rest matters. We picked a weekly cadence (not monthly) and a low minimum because cash-flow predictability is what makes this a real income, not a side hustle.
