Set up your profile
Pick an avatar, write a bio, choose a profile type, and decide how much location to share. Takes about two minutes.
What it is
Your profile is the first thing people see when they tap your name. It's an avatar, a cover image, a bio, your pronouns if you want them, and your location at the level of precision you choose — city, region, country, or off entirely.
How to use it
Tap your avatar in the sidebar, then Edit profile. Add an avatar (square images work best) and a cover photo (16:9 looks cleanest).
Write a bio. 160 characters, no pressure to be funny. Pick a profile type — personal, creator, or business — to unlock the right tools.
Scroll to Location privacy and pick how precise you want to be. "City" is a good default. "Off" is fine too; nothing in TrueSay breaks without it.
Why it matters
A finished profile gets you better matches in the suggestions tab, more follows on the first day, and fewer "is this a bot?" looks from the people you follow. Honestly, the location toggle is the one most apps hide — we put it on the same screen as the bio so you can decide once and move on.
