Audience targeting and lists
Choose who sees a post: everyone, followers, a custom list, or a single group. Audience lists let you reuse the same set across posts.
What it is
Every post on TrueSay has an audience: who can see it. The default is Public, but you can switch to Followers, A list, or A single group. Audience lists are saved sets of accounts you can reuse across posts — like "close friends" or "work people."
How to use it
In the composer, tap the audience pill under the text box (it shows your current setting, like "Public"). Pick Followers, List, or Group.
To use a list, pick one from the dropdown — or tap New list to build one on the spot. Add accounts by handle; lists can hold up to 500 people.
Tap Post. Only people in the chosen audience will see it; it won't appear on Discover or in search results outside that audience.
Why it matters
The "everyone always" model is broken — most of what you want to share is for some people, not all of them. Audience lists make the right audience the easy choice. The list editor is its own thing so you don't have to rebuild it for every post; that's the whole point.
