Voice posts
Tap and hold to record up to 90 seconds of audio. Trim the ends, drop a transcript, post.
What it is
A voice post is a recorded audio clip up to 90 seconds. It plays inline in the feed with a waveform, automatic captions, and a transcript people can read instead of listening.
How to use it
In the composer, tap the mic icon. Tap and hold to record; release when you're done. Or tap once to start, tap again to stop — your call.
Trim the ends if you started early or stopped late. Drag the handles on the waveform; preview by tapping Play.
Tap Generate transcript if you want one (recommended for accessibility). Add a text caption above if you want, then Post.
Why it matters
A short voice clip carries tone in a way text never will — sarcasm, warmth, a real laugh. We capped it at 90 seconds because longer audio on social feeds basically never gets played; if you want longer, post a podcast clip and link it.
