Measuring results
Dashboard metrics updated hourly, CSV export, a weekly digest email, and UTM tags on every click so your own analytics can verify our numbers independently.
What it is
Every campaign page has a Performance section: impressions, clicks, click-through rate (or cost per click for per-click campaigns), spend against budget, and a 30-day daily chart. Numbers update within the hour.
Verifying our numbers independently
You shouldn't have to take an ad platform's word for its own
invoicing, so every click we send carries UTM tags —
utm_source=truesay, plus campaign and creative identifiers — that
your own analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, server logs) can
count independently. If you already tag your URLs, your own
utm_source wins; we never overwrite it.
An impression only counts when at least half the ad was actually on screen for two seconds or more — the industry viewability standard — not merely when it was sent to a device.
Exports and digests
- Download CSV on any campaign page exports the daily numbers (up to 90 days) for your own spreadsheets.
- A weekly email digest summarizes all your active campaigns every Monday. Turn it off any time in Settings → Email.
- A monthly statement covers wallet top-ups and per-campaign spend.
Reading the numbers
- CTR (click-through rate: clicks ÷ impressions) around 1–3% is a typical band for feed ads. Below that, try a different headline or image before raising the budget.
- On per-click campaigns you may occasionally see a click recorded slightly before its impression — a fast tap can bill before the viewability clock finishes. The dashboard shows "—" for CTR in that case rather than a misleading number.
