This California Privacy Notice is issued by TrueSay Labs Inc.("TrueSay," "we," or "us") and supplements our Privacy Policy. It applies solely to residents of the State of California and describes how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information of California consumers, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 ("CCPA").

• Processing AI-powered features such as content suggestions and hashtag generation
• Content moderation and enforcing our community guidelines
• Communicating with you about your account and our services
• Protecting against security incidents, fraud, and illegal activity
• Complying with legal obligations
• Debugging and repairing errors in our services

4. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, as defined under the CCPA, the personal information of California consumers and have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share personal information with third parties for targeted advertising purposes as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information to the following categories of third parties for a business purpose:

• Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Vercel, Supabase), AI processing (Anthropic, OpenAI, AssemblyAI, ElevenLabs, SightEngine, Hive), error monitoring (Sentry), logging (Axiom). For full details on each processor, see our Privacy Policy, Section 4.
• Legal and Safety: Law enforcement or government agencies when required by law or to protect rights and safety

6. Your California Privacy Rights

Under the CCPA, California residents have the following rights:

• Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Correct: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: As stated above, we do not sell or share your personal information. No opt-out is necessary.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide our services.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

7. How to Exercise Your Rights

You can exercise your California privacy rights in the following ways:

• Access and Correct: Update your personal information directly through your Profile Settings.
• Delete: Delete your account through Account Settings, or submit a request via our Feedback Form.
• Data Request: Submit a verifiable consumer request via our Feedback Form with the category "General" and include "CCPA Request" in your message.

We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request by matching the information you provide with the information we have on file. We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt.

8. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. To do so, provide written authorization to the agent, who must then submit the request through our Feedback Form along with proof of authorization.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, security, or operational purposes.

10. Children's Privacy

TrueSay is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will promptly delete that information.

11. Changes to This Notice

We may update this California Privacy Notice from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated notice on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
